During an ordinary trip, Mr. Tian Yijun, a famous collector,and his wife Ms. Wang Jue,in an old shed beside a highway in northern Shanxi,unexpectedly discovered a batch of broken temple murals.After consulting relevant laws and regulations on the protection of cultural relics,they saved and collected these ancient cultural heritages on the verge of extinction.In 2015, the couple decided to donate these precious temple murals of the Ming and Qing dynasties to Shanxi Museum so that they could be protected, inherited and utilized forever.
